Honestly it kind of scares me thinking about spending another 4 years at a different school. I feel like I'm basically graduating to go to school again. It is very unmotivated if I'm honest. However at the same time I would like to go to college for the experience and for the learning I will have. However if you take out the basic classes, it would take me and most people maybe 1 to 2 years to finish their major because the basic classes take up so much time and effort. So I wish you did not need to take those and purely got to decide on our own. With that said the school I was most impressed by was UCSC.
The vibe of it was really nice. It was in this forest like area and had a really cool calm relaxing atmosphere. Which I think would be important to have considering college is most likely going to be a really stressful time for me. The campus looked really nice and the people their for the most part seemed cool and welcoming. The other schools such as Berkeley, seemed very sad and really depressed. I feel like I myself without having family there and no real relationships would become very sad as well. As you can see I think having a good environment is so important. After being at high tech for so long it is finally coming to me that the environment I learn with is just as important as the teachers and people I learn with.
