The Process
The t shirt model in our design we thought showed how the brain is open and how it expresses emotions. The idea of the brain opening up shows growth and shows open mindedness. Our little book is a very obvious thing, it shows a lot about the brain's growth. The science behind the emotions. Also lists some ways that people might see or view emotions that could be fixed.
Our NAMI walk activity was for people to put on a canvas where they thought sadness or happiness would be created in the brain. We did this so people could see how much knowledge they had on the brain as well as tell them what each part does and what they should know about each emotion within the brain.

My original topic was the teen brain through puberty. So mine was discussing how teens have a hard time explaining themselves sometimes, how they feel disconnected from adults and sometimes even their peers. My group all focused on somewhat negative emotions in the brain, whether that be bullying, addiction, depression. They all connected to negative emotions. Mine focused on emotions specifically through puberty. So we had a lot in common just the fact that mine was about the changing of emotions through age. So we could come together and focus that our topic should be the negative perspective on emotions.
