I felt like this week was the most uneventful yet most learning experience I have gotten in Bio this semester so far. I might be exaggerating, but I feel like I truly learned a lot this week from the presentations given in class. I originally thought it was going to be boring, or even stupid. I do not find enjoyment out of watching other present for a whole class period. But this was actually a really good week as far as the information I was able to gather from what my peers said.
On Tuesday I felt like I had a good day in the sense that it seemed like it had set the week off to a good start as far as Biology class goes. I learned a lot about split personalities, depression, sleep deprivation, and similar issues. I thought it was very thought provoking at first because every presentation would basically throughout facts or ideas that I had not either heard of or thought about. From that Tuesday I was really excited to see what everyone else had to say.
Further on to the week I feel like I learned a lot throughout Wednesday and Thursday. I actually thoroughly enjoyed watching the presentations. I think it was probably the funnest and most productive week learning wise I have had.
I did for a little bit feel like some of the slide shows and topics were to similar and kind of wished people maybe had chosen more unique things or maybe a more unique way to present their info. I still liked watching each person speak I think it was a good way to show why we are all wanting to do our specific topics.
